Beard's Resort is located on a small all spring-fed lake perfect for swimming, boating, skiing, fishing -- a great place to spend a relaxing time with your family and friends.

Our sandy beach is clean and safe, with a playground and beach toys for the kids, along with paddleboats and a canoe. In the evening, sit around the bonfire and watch the stars come out.

Our small store has limited groceries, souvenirs,ice,Schwan's ice cream, pizza, pop, candy, chips, etc. You can challenge yourself or others to video games, pool, air hockey and table games.

Our area offers tennis, golf, hiking/biking trails, horseback riding, bird watching, a large state park, amusement park, movies, shopping, antiques, dining and churches....all within ten miles of Beard's Resort.

For those who think a summer isn't complete without fishing, Long Lake is spring-fed, so the water is cool,clear and clean. The lake is small -- 280 acres -- with a range of fish habitats. There are shallow, weedy bays packed with bass, as well as deep holes (45 feet) with walleyes and northerns. Within casting distance of our dock the water depth drops to 12 feet -- sunfish, bass, and crappies are within an easy throw. Our bait house has nightcrawlers, leeches, and a variety of minnows -- all the makings of a great fishing vacation.
