Black Pine Beach Resort is located 30 minutes north of Brainerd, MN, on Little Whitefish Lake (aka Pig Lake) of the Whitefish Chain of Lakes. In 2007, the resort was selected as a 'green business' by the U of M's Renewing The Countryside- Green Routes program. There are thirteen individual cabins on about 6 acres with 480’ of castle-perfect sandy lake frontage. The resort has a vaulted lodge and spacious gift shop that covers an area of approximately 1825 square feet. A candy store, kids play table and visiting area are a part of the lodge as well. There's free wireless internet, HD satellite TV, DVD players in each cabin. Most have fireplaces; some have dishwashers.

The curious and clever Secret Garden will delight everyone.
The Secret Garden, a half acre wooded area on the southeast side of the property, was added to the resort in the fall of 2004. The grapevined bridge entry spans a recirculating waterfall pond that sits on what was once the roadbed of County Road 16. Within the Garden are five areas, each with a different theme. Kids' notes to the elves are answered within 24 hours with a customized rhymed reply.

Poke around in the pine paneled, vaulted Game Room and discover the log-sided playhouse, complete with electricity, shake roof, wooden deck and fairy-tale hut-style front door.

In 1986 the resort became a four season property and today there are five winterized cabins. Over the years, the resort grew from the 6 small seasonal cabins to the current 13 deluxe lake cottages and a wide array of resort amenities, not the least of which is a devotion to exceptional customer service.
